4M reception contest rules

Contest purpose

-          Receive as many messages as possible

-          All 5 types of messages count

Although the callsign messages, the telemetry messages and Dralux (radiation experiment) will be displayed on the website, the ‘global’ messages are not.

Categories

There are two categories

Individuals

One reception station, either multioperator, either single operator

Team

Up to 6 stations can team to collect messages. Each station can be mono or multi operator.

Team should preferably be comprised of stations on different continents.

Stations of the same country will be included in the Individual / multi op category.

Registration

Send a mail to moon@luxspace.lu with

4M-CONTEST- registration-Callsign1-Callsign2-…(up to 6)-MASTER-callsign (the station that collects the ALL.TXT in team)

Once registered, teams cannot be changed.

Start and duration

The contest starts at the activation of 4M, i.e. around 23Oct. 19:17UTC

The duration of the contest is set at 151.5 hours.

Submission of results

Each day at 20:30UTC, the station(s) sends its ALL.TXT at moon@luxspace.lu

The subject should be formatted that way

For individual category:

YYYY-MM-DD-4M-CONTEST-STATION CALLSIGN-QRA locator

For team category

YYYY-MM-DD-4M-CONTEST-CALLSIGN1-CALLSIGN2-….(up to 6)-QRA1-QRA2-…(up to 6)

Results

Results will be published in December

Prizes

Individual: An ETTUS B210 SDR board

Team: a funcube dongle pro for each team member

Each registered participant will be attributed the patch of the mission
